What areas do you service?

99% of the time, we roll our Mobile Spa right to your doorstep.  We cover a most of Somerset, Middlesex and Union Counties in Central New Jersey~~~basically a good part of the (908) and (732) area codes, but we do have some friends that live too far out for us to visit, so for those people, we park 1-2 days a month in a standing location .  You come to us, leave your pet, (go shopping, have lunch, read a book in your car) come back an hour later or we can call you on your cell and your baby is all pampered and ready to pick up.  We will travel out of our regular area for a large family of pets (6 pet min.) at one household.

I think my cat would totally freak!  Do you actually do spa treatments on cats???

YES, we do and absolutely LOVE it!!!  Most groomers don't do cats.  They are generally more challenging than dogs and you definitely need experience and confidence to service them safely.  We used to own a cattery in Florida and have groomed thousands of cats.  We are very sensitive to their special needs, and in all actuality, our Mobile Spa is the perfect environment to pamper your feline.  It's quiet.  There are no barking dogs or other distractions that might agitate your kitty, and yes, we give them most of the same pampering the dogs get and the majority really enjoy it!  We offer Lion Cuts as well as our Shed-Less spa service for our feline friends.

When should my puppy or kitty have it's first grooming?

Grooming should start at 12 weeks.  This will allow your new baby the opportunity to become aquainted with us and all the new things that come with being a pampered pet.  Noises such as dryers and clippers, nail clipping, even just standing on the table can be frightening if they are not introduced with care and patience.  The first 6 months of life for your pet is like the first 5 years for a human which is why it is so important to start them early.  We recommend spa sessions once a month for 4-5 months and every 4-6 weeks after that depending on the breed and your needs.  We have a special introductory package and price for baby's first grooming (for pets 5 months or less) and will adjust the price accordingly for large breed dogs under 7 months.  We will also help you learn as much as you wish about your new friend's home grooming needs.

My groomer requires that my pet stay all or most of the day.  How long will it take for my pet to have a spa session?

Grooming salons groom a much larger volume of pets.  How would you like being left at a shop all day surrounded by barking dogs, crying cats, loud dryers and the phones ringing?  How about being handled by many different people, in an assembly line format?  With us, your pet is never sitting and waiting, alone and wet in a cage.  With our spa package, your pet receives personal attention from start to finish and you don't even have to leave your driveway!  Pets are comforted knowing that they are still close to home.  They can look out the windows and see!  When finished, the pet steps out of the van and is already in comfortable surroundings!  The entire process usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the style, condition and breed of your pet.

Are you going to use my water and electricity?  Will you leave a big mess?

Absolutely not.  What kind of friend would we be if we were an inconvenience to you and disrespectful to your property?  Our Spa is totally self-contained and self-sufficient and the best part is that when we drive away, our mess drives away with us.  We are quiet, too!  No loud generators.  Please check out our "About The Van" section~it will explain everything in detail with pictures.

I'm  on my third vacuum this year.  Can you help me??  Please???

Oh boy!  We sure can!!!  Our hydromassage system helps open your pet's pores promoting healthy skin, our remoisturizing emollients replace lost moisture into the hair folicles and we use a special tool called "THE FURMINATOR" to safely remove all the undercoat from your furry friend.  The end result is simply amazing.  This Shed-Less treatment lasts about 4 weeks for most.  Pets and their owners who have this spa service done on a monthly basis really see fantastic long term benefits.  CATS can have this service done too!!! 

Do I have to be home while my pet is pampered?

For the first one or two visits, yes.  We want to make sure that we start our friendship off on the right paw and that takes communication and trust, but once we are all comfortable, if you choose, it is possible for you to be out and about while we visit.  Our schedule is fairly flexible.  We are early birds and even have some evenings available...weekends too!  We will do everything we can to make our visit as convenient as possible for you.

You seem so nice, but I'm still nervous about having my pet groomed.  Can I stay and watch you?

We don't recommend this because believe it or not, 99% of the time your furry friend will be more relaxed and better behaved when you are not there.  If you are nervous, they will be too!  We'll be happy to give you a tour of the spa and if you wish you may "peek" in the windows (without knocking, please) and under certain circumstances, we may agree to you being with us.  Each friend will be evaluated on a individual basis.

Are the products you use gentle?

Yes, gentle and extremely effective.  Please check out our Spa Retail Page for more in depth information on specific  products.  We have a very limited selection of spa quality retail products for sale that we know and trust:  all over wellness enrichment sprays, bodywashes, mouthwash, toothgel, ear treatments, etc.  The same products we use during our spa session with your friend.
