A special place exists for those pets who have passed....
It's called the...

Rainbow Bridge
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special furry friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are now restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body stops and quivers. Suddenly, he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special furry friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous renioun, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.
Then, you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.....forever.
I would like to add my own little memorial for the two incredibly wonderful dogs that my husband, Don and I lost this year. My sweet Minature Poodle, Baba, 16, who I rescued when the Plantation Police Department in Florida called my pet store to help them evacuate three dogs that hade been left alone for at least five days when their owner was arrested for drug dealing. My plan was to find all three dogs new homes. I did find homes for the others, but Baba tugged on my heartstrings. Believe me, I did not need another dog, but she loved me unconditionally without reservation, and that was priceless to me.

Our other dog that passed was Musa, a red merle Austrailian Shepherd, 7. I had been grooming him since he was a puppy. He had so much love and affection to give and was so funny, he captured everyone's heart, including mine. He was almost entirely white with striking blue eyes that held so much intelligence. He was only with us about a year, for personal reasons my clients couldn't give him all the attention he needed, (it broke their hearts, but they knew it was best for Musa) so we took him into our family. He went to work with my husband everyday, and was so loyal and attentive, he never needed to wear a leash. He was Don's shadow in every way and glued to his side. We will miss him very much. Life just isn't the same without him.

A very sad goodbye to Jocko, dearest friend to Dee S. He was the only dog I knew that actually wore pajamas to bed and owned a smoking jacket. Not a day goes by that he is not missed and loved.
(Jocko for Valentine's Day)
Another very sad farewell to Miss Vicky, dear friend to Nancy and Rob, sister to Naty and Aunt to George of the Jungle. She was a little butterball of love and truly special to all who knew her. Condolences to her family and friends.
Nick and Audrey J. sadly say goodbye to their sweet Magoo, but they are comforted knowing he has friends and a brother waiting for him on the other side.
Goodbye to Snowy. He was dearly loved.
This memorial is for Korbel. He literally " came with the house " that my husband and I purchased over 14 years ago. The owner could not take care of him and was going to put him in the pound. He was an adult black/tan tabby, fixed and declawed; he rubbed me the very first night we came to see the house. There was no way that my husband and I could not take him. It was the best thing we ever did. He was our buddy for almost 13 years when he passed from cancer in February of 2005. Everyone who met him loved him.
He was the KING OF THE HOUSE,,my mother called him the Ambassador. If the doorbell rang, he was there to see who was coming to visit him. He was always in the mix of whatever company we had. He was a big boy, 17 lbs. in his prime, and quite the " talker ".
He is dearly missed....he passed when I was working from home one day,,I am glad I was there,,but it still hurts sometimes when I think back on that day. We know he is always with us, and he is waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge, so we will see him again one day.
Love to Korbel
Hi Hillarie and Don
It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that Benson died on Tuesday. I just wanted to thank you for making him feel good during his last few weeks. He knew that after his terrible start on this planet He was so loved and respected on his last day. We are crying many tears this week. But will open our hearts and home to someone else in the future. Thanks again Barbara
We say a sad goodbye to little Lisa longtime friend and faithful companion to Mrs. T.
Sandy, a handsome Cocker loved by the W. family will be waiting for them on the rainbow bridge.
My Sweet Joi passed away. The night before he had been very happy and still running around like a little puppy. He did not suffer and I am grateful to god for this blessing and the 12 years I had with Joi. I want to say thank you for all of the care and love you've shown Joi and me during the years of his life. I am grateful for your kindness. God's blessings to you....S.H.

Click on the rainbow heart if you would like to send in a memorial (with or without a picture)
